Serowe to Kubu Island

The next part of our safari took us north to the Makgadikgadi Pan, a huge salt pan wich is dry at this time of the year. The vastness and silence were amazing but also a bit scary. Kubu Island seemed like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Between big baobab and african chestnut trees we made our camp and enjoyed a wonderful sunset. The next morning we got up early and I had the best breakfast in my life! We drove into the salt pan to to have coffee in the nowhere…indescribable!
